Our Commitment
As an industry leader, JEA has long embraced the One Water concept and Integrated Water Resources Management principles. In addition to the H2.0® Purification Program, JEA’s efforts to achieve water sustainability for our community include planning, conservation, reclaimed water, and educating the next generation about the importance of water for the future of our community.
Integrated Water Resources Plan
JEA has an Integrated Water Resources Plan (IWRP) that provides long-term recommendations to meet customer needs. JEA’s most recent IWRP and DSM (Demand Side Management) strategy for water conservation can be accessed below.
Water Safety
To ensure the protection of public health, we collect and test over 45,000 samples throughout our service territory for over 100 bacteriological and chemical components to ensure compliance.
Community Education
As members of the community, you have a role to play in the achievement of a One Water future. Through education programs geared toward the next generation of water champions, and providing our customers with the information and tools necessary, JEA aims to ensure we all work toward a common vision of a secure water future.
